What are your days and hours?
We offer child care between 5:45 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Extended Evening Care is available from 6:00 pm to midnight, Monday through Friday at ABC Child Care Center. Saturday Care is available from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm at ABC Child Care Village.
What do I do if my child is not feeling well on a day I have to be at work?
Although it would be wonderful for you to stay home with your child, we realize that isn't always possible. ABC has a moderately ill "chicken soup" room with separate ventilation and entrance. We employ a Registered Nurse and have a Pediatrician on call to ensure your child receives the best of care. There are no extra charges for this amazing service. It is our hope that one day, all child care centers might provide this service in order to decrease the spread of illness.
Is ABC accredited?
Yes! ABC is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
What is accreditation and why is it important?
Accreditation provides a standard far beyond that of licensing alone. As it is estimated that only the top 1% of preschools are accredited, you can rest assured that your child is receiving the best of care. ABC is the largest accredited preschool in the State of California!
Can you help me to find a quality babysitter for an evening or a Saturday?
Yes...ABC offers both evening and Saturday care. In fact, your child does not have to be enrolled as a student at ABC to take advantage of this service. Why place your child with someone you don't know, when they can enjoy the fun, and the safety that comes with California's largest, accredited, private child care center? What is the staff/child ratio at ABC
For Infants, the ratio is 1 to 4
For Toddlers, the ratio is 1 to 6.
For Preschoolers, the ratio is 1 to 9.
For Kindergarten, the ratio is 1 to 12.
For School Age Care (Kids Kamp), the ratio is 1 to 14.
How does your video monitoring system work?
Each classroom at ABC Child Care Center is equipped with a monitoring camera and the video monitors are located in the Director's office. Parents are welcome to drop by at any time and view their children through our closed circuit cameras. We believe it's a great tool for parents to be able to watch how their children interact in the classroom setting. Due to safety and security issues, we do not offer live video feeds over the internet.
Do you offer a multi-child discount?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount on the sibling with the lesser weekly tuition, as long as all accounts are kept current.
What kind of lunch program does ABC provide?
ABC provides two nutritious snacks and a hot lunch daily. Menus for the current week are posted on this website, in the classrooms and are sent home at the beginning of each month.
What is ABC Child Care Center's greatest strength?
